What We Offer

The Ellington is a 3,350 square foot building with a 1,900 square foot event space that can seat and accommodate 125 guests. In addition, we offer a full warming kitchen, ice machine, ADA bathrooms and audio/visual technology. A list of preferred caterers and vendors can be provided to assist you in planning your perfect event.

About Us

The Ellington was created with love, legacy, and celebration in mind. Named in honor of my grandparents Dr Joseph “JC” and Lurline Ellington, this space is a tribute to the meaningful life they built together and the countless memories they made with family and friends.

Dr. Ellington was a dedicated family physician in Rayville, La., a proud Army veteran, and the long-serving coroner of Richland Parish for over 30 years. He co-founded The Ball and Ellington Clinic — the first medical clinic in the parish — and was deeply respected for his commitment to his community. Lurline, a registered dietitian and gifted artist, brought creativity and care into every aspect of her life. Together, they were proud graduates of Louisiana Tech and loving parents to four children: Mary Jo, Linda Kay, Jean, and Jay.

The Ellington carries their legacy forward as a place where others can gather with their dearest loved ones to create memories of their own. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, hosting a special event, or bringing people together just because, we hope this space becomes part of your story — just as their lives are forever part of ours.
